The Sexual Harassment and Rape Prevention Program (SHARPP) installed a display on the third floor of the Memorial Union Building (MUB) on Friday, March 17, to kick off their street harassment awareness and prevention campaign. By the end of the day, the installment was dismantled after receiving negative reactions and feedback from university administration and students, according to Dean of Students Ted Kirkpatrick.

Graduating in May with a Bachelor of Science in nutrition, Alana Davidson is leaving her mark on UNH by paying it forward. After conducting research on campus last fall, Davidson found that out of a sample size of 943 UNH graduate and undergraduate students, 25 percent proved to be “food insecure.” It was this shocking find that inspired Davidson to create the program “Swipe It Forward.”

After discovering that Collegiate Entrepreneurs was using classrooms and breakout rooms in Paul College to recruit and hire students, UNH’s director of Employment Relations, Raina Sarvaiya, sent an email on Friday, Feb. 10, at 9:20 p.m. to students.

Since her freshman year at UNH, Galipo, now a senior, has been testing her limits—first by joining the climbing team, and later, by finding thrill in sport, traditional and ice climbing.

Last week, you may have noticed a group titled “Nasty Girl Club” pop up on your Facebook feeds. The name of the group is still up in the air, as creator and administrator Lizzie Silvio doesn’t want it to be misconstrued as a group meant only for females or only for Democrats. According to Silvio, the title is simply a reference to President-elect Donald Trump calling Hillary Clinton a “nasty woman” in a debate after claiming that no one had more respect for women than he does.
